Potters, wood-turners & basket weavers

Look over the shoulders of potters, wood-turners or basket weavers.

At the craft workshops of Schloss Hof, the place buzzes with activity. A potter, a wood-turner, and a basket weaver each take turns showcasing their traditional crafts. Visitors can peek over the shoulders of these skilled artisans—watching techniques passed down through generations—and gain a hands-on glimpse into their workmanship.

Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday (Austria and Slovakia), from 1 to 5 pm, visitors can watch the potter at work on the wheel – live and up close. Beautifully handcrafted pieces made at Schloss Hof are available for purchase in the on-site shop.
