The main entrance has level access.

Accessible parking is available in our car park (approx. 200 m from the main entrance).  

Accessible toilets are located

• in the palace
• in the Children’s and Family World
• in the on-site restaurant

The restaurant / café has level access.  

Palace: The Palace state rooms have level access.

There is an elevator into the Palace state rooms (100 cm wide by 165 cm deep with a 90 cm door width).

Estate farm: The restaurant has level access.

Garden: The main garden is not fully accessible.

• Number of steps to the 3^rd Garden Terrace: 8.
• Number of steps to the 5^th Garden Terrace: 26.
• All other garden terraces: no steps.
• An elevator provides easy access to the viewing platform on the 7^th Garden Terrace. To access the elevator, you need a European disabled toilet key (Euro-key).

Schloss Niederweiden: SERVICES FOR VISITORS WITH DISABILITIES AND SPECIAL NEEDS

At Schloss Niederweiden, we provide a new service for visitors with disabilities and special needs.

A new film takes visitors on a journey through the history of Schloss Niederweiden. It shows the rooms on the piano nobile and the game kitchen.

The film is projected onto a large TV screen on the palace’s ground floor. It has subtitles in Easy English. There are also two tablets available. The film can be played on these with subtitles in Easy English / German / Slovak.

The following services for visitors with disabilities and special needs are available at the admission desk (to be returned after use):
