Current COVID Informations
as regards handling the situation concerning the Corona virus, we are orienting ourselves on the part of the SKB (Schloß Schönbrunn Kultur- u. Betriebsges.m.b.H) on the recommendation of the WHO and the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the Federal Government. Situations such as these are also taken into account in the safety concept of the SKB.
As preventive measure to contain infections through the Corona virus (Covid.19), the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs based on the decree of the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection is immediately closing all locations (exhibition rooms) of the SKB (Schönbrunn Palace, Imperial Apartments/Sisi Museum/ Silver Collection (Hofburg Vienna), Hofmobiliendepot ∙ Imperial Furniture Collection, also Schloss Hof Estate and Schloss Niederweiden for guests until 15 May 2020.
We are now pleased to be able to open all locations again to our guests from 15 May 2020
(Kindermuseum Schönbrunn Palace will open from 29 May 2020)

Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden
Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden welcome you as of 15 May daily from 10am to 6pm.
The event department cannot switch into regular operations at present because of Federal Government regulations, but is already up and running for on-site inspection of coming events.
In Schönbrunn Palace as of 15 May, the Imperial Apartments and resplendent state rooms can viewed daily from 10am to 5pm.
The Schönbrunn Palace Children’s Museum is re-opening its doors and welcomes its first guests on 29 May.
Starting on 15 May, the palace park is reopening its gates once more to the Crown Prince and Orangery Garden, the maze with Labyrinth and the Labyrinthikon Playground.
The viewing platform in the Crown Prince Garden and the prospect terrace on the Gloriette remain closed until further notice.
The Schönbrunn catering services invite you once again to enjoy their imperial gourmet pleasures.

Imperial Furniture Collection/Hofmobiliendepot ∙ Möbel Museum Wien
The Imperial Furniture Collection is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
Sisi Museum • Imperial Apartments • Imperial Silver Collection in the Vienna Hofburg
The Sisi Museum with the Imperial Apartments and the Imperial Silver Collection in the Vienna Hofburg are open daily from 10am to 5pm and looking forward to welcoming their visitors.
Rules of conduct for safeguarding our guests
o Restriction of the maximum number of visitors within the rooms on show, ticket office concourses and shop areas while maintaining the currently valid directives based on the present status of 1 person per 10m².
o Group sizes are at present restricted to a maximum of ten persons (including guide).
Educational programmes (e.g. curator guided tours, workshops, etc.) are available but here, too, with participation of a maximum of ten persons.
o Control of the number of visitors through the visitor flow management system and time slots (Schönbrunn Palace), respectively counting protocols carried out by supervisors of the rooms on show and by controlled access (Sisi Musuem/Imperial Apartments/imperial Silver Collection (Vienna Hofburg) Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden and also the
Imperial Furniture Collection/Hofmobiliendepot ∙ Möbel Museum Wien).
o In accordance with Federal Government regulation it is at present compulsory to cover mouth and nose within the rooms on show, ticket office concourses and shopareas.
Employees in these areas are equipped with plastic visors with headband or Nose-Mouth-Protecion.
o The obligation to cover mouth and nose applies as well to visitors.
Guests are requested to make sure they bring a protective mask for mouth and nose when visiting the Schönbrunn Group/SKB locations.
Alternatively you have the option of covering mouth and nose with a scarf so as to keep to the safety regulations.
o Moreover, guests are requested if possible to make cashless payments in the building and grounds, or to purchase their tickets online.
o For group reservations, the previous procedure for online reservations apply.
o Furthermore, hand sanitizers will be installed for usage, also reinforced measures for cleaning and disinfecting audio guides and the recommendation to use the printed audio guide texts as alternative.

Cancellation of all reservations till 30 June inclusive
Measures on account of the cessation of visitor operations in all four locations:
o Dates already booked in the period 15 May – 30 June have been cancelled owing to the safety measures.
o Online group reservations for the period of 15 May - 30 June will be available within the next days.
o The group size in the online reservation system was aligned to the group size specified by the Federal Government (at present 10 pax incl. guide).

To the group attractions at Schloss Hof & Schloss Niederweiden
Much has been written and published about the austrian empress. Indeed, the fascination of this woman grows the more one discovers about her. Also known by her familiar name "Sisi", Elisabeth has captured the imagination of many.
Our group guests receive 5 % off shop products with their admission tickets (excluding special offers). Souvenirs, postcards, books and food specialities from the region are available in the Greisslerei – the “corner shop” – in the Kontor/shop in the Meierhof (open daily 11 am – 6 pm) and also in the shop in the ticket office courtyard (open daily 10 am – 6 pm).

There are 21 parking places for buses to choose from. Bus drivers are entitled to free admission and a non-alcoholic drink in the restaurant “Weisser Pfau”.
